I am Ted Tedesco and a leader in the pro Pledge movement here in Vermont. The Pledge is legal, traditional and convenient when said in the classroom. This discussion is not about making anyone say the Pledge. That has been unconstitutional since 1943. This discussion is about Principal Michaela Martin of Barre, Vermont and School Board Chair Retta Dunlap of Woodbury, Vermont, who will not allow the Pledge in the classroom.
