Jim, I had real hope for this organization and for Michael Steele as RNC Chair until I read the transcript from this weekend's FOX News interview. http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,486395,00.html
He said many thing which concerned me including,
"We're in the business of winning elections. And so I'm expecting my grassroots, my state parties, the national organization to get on board, to get on the page that is a winning page and move forward."

I would much rather loose another election and keep my principles than look just like the other RINOs. I believe people have left the party because it has not stood for anything. John McCain was a prime example of going left to get votes. IT WONT WORK!!!

Let's see what he's got. Michael Steel was one of my two choices, because of the relevance of his plan.

Since he was elected as the new Chairman, he called for Republicans in the Senate to stand by their principles and vote against the confirmation of Daschle. And as of this afternoon, Daschle is history. That's a good start. Let's hope he keeps it up.
