Barack Obama is smart enough to know the intelligence and attention span of his subjects. He knows that blatant take overs of industry will be met with resistance.

But, as long as he does things an inch here and there, most people won't notice. An educated electorate is necessary for a free republic, but we made the silly mistake of making education a function of the bureaucracy. Great idea, eh?
