Why the smear campaign against Palin won't work.

I asked my Undecided friend the other day what will help her make her decision. She is a Floridian, so it matters. She gets most of her news from the Daily Show and Colbert, she is cynical about all the hype for both candidates, and is waiting for reassurance from either candidate. She is troubled by McCain's political concessions and is critical of Obama's lack of substantive achievement. She is essentially libertarian, so sees merit in ideas on both sides. For me, the choice is clear.
