Barack and the Wrong Preacher

I like your article. The reasons you've given for why and how Barack ended up with a Reverend Wright are well taken. Along with the things you've stated. I, also, believe Barack has a very loyal soul, possibly created as a result of his father leaving the family and for a good deal of his young life, being raised by his grandparents and not his mother. Have you noticed how Barack looks at Michelle? When she speaks, it is as though he hangs on to every word. As an adoptee, I understand Barack's inability to throw Rev. Wright under the bus. I also believe that Rev. Wright knows how hard it was for Barack to throw him under the bus and gave him the help he needed. Keep blogging Cora.

Barack and the Wrong Preacher

This article is such a load of hot air. Point by point in an attempt to smooth over Obama's shortcommings, this article actually confirms the reason of doubt many hold against him.
Point#1 tells me Obama is half hearted in his commitments. One does not call his pastor a mentor,as close to them as a grandparent, and have a partime attendance to church services. Unless one has misconceptions of commitment means, and even his own faith.
Point #2 not knowing better is no excuse to maintain ties to any organization that speaks out as Rev. Wright did. Obama's inability to
question the rational and moral integrity of what was being taught in church leads me to wonder. How can Obama lead a nation when he can't even raise his hand from the back pew?
If he disagreed, how could he keep his children in that enviornment and still call his pastor "mentor" ?
Point #3 is an excuse used by many groups looked down upon by society for years. Cultural ties toward perserving identity has been used by street gangs and even mafia networks. Must it be used to condone racism in any form today ?
I look forward to my kids seeing the end of racism, in every corner, under all excuses.
Point #4 just says Obama is a simple soul.
A solid follower, an examplory sheep, one who takes santuary in being behind the pack ( As I already pointed out). Hardly the soul, you want to represent you in negotiations with China, or in the middle east.
