I hope when all this Christmas madness at home, and the year end madness at work, is past that I'll be spending more time reading and writing here at Townhall. In the meantime, please accept my wishes for a very Merry Christmas, Hannukah, Kwanzaa, Eid and Happy New Year. Don't drink too much, eat too much, smoke too much crack, blow up too many schoolbuses or take too few deductions (respectively).

Hey, your bit on the writers hits particularly close to home, since now my husband has zero work as opposed to last month when he had at least some work. Yeah, those Al Qaeda-supporting Hollywood writers are sitting back collecting residuals from their reruns while THOUSANDS are losing their jobs and trying to figure out how to keep their kids sheltered and fed.

By the way, has The Onion tried to get you as a writer? Or maybe you're too funny for them.
