Your latest posts are cogent and appropriately barbed. Media bias is rampant - inuendo, out of context, misleading, contradicting, contrary to fact, and the list goes on. How can we not be cynical about the media in general and many politicians in particular?

It's become an issue that's really affecting everything about the way people think. As far as cynicism goes, I think websites like TownHall are the giant first step. Genuinely good leaders against a stacked system (we hear Reagan invoked a lot) would be the end-point to fixing the mess. But the best argument against cynicism, in my view, is simply not to forget that we live in the greatest, most advanced country this world has ever seen. I strive constantly to display my gratitude in the face of the hypocritical anti-American windbags.
