Yeah. They're Scared.

Panic isn't pretty.

I was a very good pool player way back in the day (mid 70's) - oh and I'm a woman. When my time came to take on the winner, they had let their guard down a bit. I just kept putting them in, until I won. By the time they had it figured out, it was too late. One of the comments I heard often was "not bad - for a girl".
It does seem like some are starting to catch on though. However they will never understand, because they don't understand freedom.
It looks to me this is huge. I've personally talked to a few people (and really have stayed home this weekend) that are changing their vote to McCain/Palin. They were just looking for a reason.
Believe it or not - I (+ x-husband) lived in Wasilla for 4 years in the 80's. We had two kids there - homebirths.

I'm in the Security/Intel world and also have the knack for reading people and you are dead-on. The libvermin are freaked out and sense a drubbing.

In fact, I also believe that McCain's selection caught them (and us) completely by surprise and is now scaring the (bleep) out of them. I just went on record as predicting a landslide win for McCain/Palin. That prediction is worth exactly what you paid for it. I fully recognize that it may be wrong but I feel a groundswell of movement towards McCain/Palin - and mostly due to Sarah Palin's nomination.

Personally I went through the following thoughts on John McCain:
Before nomination - distrust
After nomination - resignation
After VP pick of Palin - gleeful suprise and admiration (may be too strong of a word, but will have to do for now)

I actually had goose bumps and was loudly cheering watching Palin's speech.

Finally, someone who gets it!

Just read the news of Sarah's daughter being pregnant and am still confident in a very huge win. Left does not understand that everything is not perfect in a conservatives life. We just know that God is working everything out if we just keep doing the best we can. It's called "faith".

Also we can pretty much take care of ourselves (family, friends & community) and don't need govenment screwing it up by taking our money and guns.

What we need are a strong military (to protect our freedom) and a few necessary services, ie. law enforcement. Otherwise get the heck out of the way!
