DOES THE LAND OF ISRAEL BELONG TO THE JEWS?

I agree with you Jesse, the land of Israel (and Jerusalem) belongs to the Jews thru the promise God made to Abraham. In no place in scripture did God ever "renege" on that promise.

As I read scripture, Christians (and the Church) are "spiritual" Israel. We (I include myself) are the "adopted" Children of God. We have an entirely different set of promises. Our "Promise Land" is at an entirely different location (Heaven). Our "Passover Lamb" was crucified on a cross (with no bone broken as foretold).

Well said. We are part of the house of Israel. My mentioning that in this blog that I don't want to hear about Christians saying they were the new Israel has to do with what was specifically said by Jesus himself in Luke 21:24 in saying the word "Gentiles". No matter what your viewpoint on the terms Israel, or house of Israel, Gentiles definitely separates Christian from Jew. Our Passover Lamb is also theirs in due time. They will inherit what we will inherit as well. It will be a new spirit poured upon the Jews, and I believe it will happen when the Antichrist stands in the Holy place where he ought not. God bless.

The land was given by an everlasting covenent. So many today need to look that word up. It not just the modern land that Israel holds today the land given by God goes to the river eruphrates.
