The points concerning Jefferson are well taken.

But even the "Strong Central Government" suppporters of Jefferson's day would be horrified at the extremes that today's Liberals have taken this concept.

Both Alexander Hamilton and Aaron Burr would have challenged these proponents of the "Nanny State" to a duel before ever fighting one between themselves.
