There are little, tiny cracks appearing in this fraud and sham of an administration. The rapid bankruptcies/takeovers of Chrysler and GM have left the so-called Silent Majority reeling! The working peeps don`t like it. We are all wondering what in the Constitution gives him the right to take over private enterprise, going as far as firing CEOs of industry. Somebody answer! Ten percent unemployment. Printing and spending money anyway and he says he needs more! China owns us. There is no money left and he and his cronies continue to blame Bush!

There are some healthy signs of protest out there! The success of the TEA Parties and more to come! California voters upholding Prop 8 and voting down additional tax and spend bills. The Governors races in NJ and VA.

Never will understand the appeal of the prez. He`s a smooth talker? I did read he took TOTUS to Normandy. Is that true? As much as I distrust and dislike him, I cannot believe even he would stoop that low. Of course, he`s into bowing ....

I am like many Conservatives. I am stock-piling guns, ammo, non-perishable food, water purification equipment, and heirloom seeds. But we have to wait. Lexington and Concord did not occur until the British started confiscating guns and ammo. And the South was stupid to secede when it did (they had control of the Senate and could have stopped any actions they thought were unconstitutional). I am a Southerner and can say this from a historical perspective.

We must not start anything until all possibilities are completely examined.

I get the impression that there is a lot more going on than we are aware of all across the country. Problem is, it's not reported nationally. I am in the process of focusing on going to more local newspapers that are online to see what news I can gather. That's one of the reasons I am not here at TH as often as I used to be.

Your bottom line is spot on, we can't be waiting and waiting for some 'messiah' of our own, we need to keep plugging away.

Military budgets slashed, Congress pulling funds for troops deployed in combat, blaming all military personnel for the acts of a few and portraying the whole as out of control savages (Mi Lai then, Abu Ghraib now), assaults on military personnel for no other reason than they wear the uniform...

The amnesty and socialized healthcare bills are crucial to Obama’s statist agenda and he knows it. Once passed, the accelerated voter demographic change and increased dependency on government services will skyrocket and most likely ensure a 2012 reelection. Probably followed by a repeal of the 22nd amendment...if not sooner.

If Obama can rig the playing field, then the States may be the last hope for the Constitution. Either through a Constitutional Convention, or failing that succession.

Glenn Beck has a special all this week on things like this and on Friday he's supposed to have some suggestions. He said we cannot allow another bill to be passed by these people. Congress is not even writing them. And they don't even seem to care about what we think. They will do what they want is what I keep hearing.

This is a deliberate take down of our country and it may already be too late. I sure hope not, but Ron and I are thinking the only way this is going to stop is through bloodshed. It seems that one day something is going to bust and the guns are going to come out.

Historically nothing gets stopped like this until there is violence. The people will have to rise up and start fighting. Because our government has declared war on us. It's that simple and that complex.

I love reading and discovering how many people really "get it". The damage this administration has done thus far will take years and years to reverse. IF we're successful at regaining congressional control, Obama will have all that executive branch machinery, Czars and "stimulus" MONEY to continue acting outside the constraints of the law/constitution. Impeachment is an iffy option requiring a conservative super majority to pull off. Don't know if there would be enough good guys in the house of reps with the intestinal fortitude to go there.

I agree w/you Bobbie. We've been witnessing the breakdown here for months. Just a little extra food for thought, but I'll bet some of the older outraged protesters that hit the streets in Iran after THEIR recent fraudulent election, might be wishing they'd have acted 30 years ago before the total collapse of their country under the Shah occurred in 1979. Ironic, that in 1979 a liberal American President Jimmy Carter refused to help the Shah of Iran maintain power; and that today another radical liberal US President, Barack Obama, refused to help the people of Iran.

I suppose that waiting for total collapse and takeover by an authoritarian regime, in our case by Marxists, before hitting the streets, (or even the phone banks and/or primary election process) in outraged protest makes strategic sense to some folks. Problem is, as you say, if we've waited that long it's already too late, just as it was too little too late for the protesters in Iran this year.
