Why Bill O'Reilly doesn't get President Obama

The lessons of youth
It constantly astonishes me that we teach our children that we are "known by the company we keep," but that admonition goes by the way-side when it should be applied to politicians -- especially left-wing politicians.
I, too, am frustrated by O'Reilly's refusal to call a spade a spade as it relates to Obama.
O'Reilly, like most pundits, views Obama through the lens of an ordinary politician. Obama isn't an ordinary politician. He's a "true believer." All that matters to him is the AGENDA. There is no looking towards 2012. All that is important is that he changes the face of America between now and 2010 when he will no longer have the votes in Congress to do so.
He has explicitly told us over and over what he is and what he intends to do. By his actions over the few years in office he has shown us who and what he is. By "his" writings, he has shown us who and what he is. By his associations, he has shown us who and what he is.
Why O'Reilly and other pundits don't view Obama through the lens of Obama's words and deeds befuddles me.

Bill O'Rilley is hedging his...
...bet. He is wanting to be able to position himself as "fair" at the cost of "balanced". I honestly believe he is, if not fearful, concerned with what this administreation may do in regard to the media.
Bill is playing the oldest political game there is. CYA
