I hope that you're wrong, but I fear that you may be right. I think we've still got a chance, but it is waning quickly as many of those who, as you say, used to protect the Constitution now use it to further their own means.

Thanks RH. We've worked around real socialism for years and know how it works. It sorta makes us look at the cup as half empty, but like you, I pray we're wrong. The problem is, we no longer have any say in the outcome. Obama can screw up, Texas can secede, Hugo can invade Florida, that sort of thing. But if dogs are allowed to be dogs they will act in fairly predictable ways.
Problem is, with Dem's controlling key secretarys of state, key county registrars ( a very sophisticated plan the past few years no one really saw coming)2006 may have been our last free vote. With no way to get them thrown out legitimately (the window gets more narrow)then I can't see any way out.
We may only have two years to turn things around, but it has to be local.
At this point we're only interested in action plans. Talk radio has become little more than a redundancy.
