Automaker Bail out really a bail out for the Democrat Govenor

Let 'Em Fail

Your are right what these bailouts are for. I grew up in CT. and my father in law knew Chris Dodd's father. He was also a senator. My father inlaw would state that Dodd Sr. would roll over in his grave to see how his son has turned out. Check this post I wrote on unions.

Automaker Bailout

Can you tell me why the Governor of Michigan was with Obama and his economic advisory team last week. Yes, I am sure she can give a lot of insight on how to ruin an economy.

The New York Times (okay I get it online), has an article that it looks like this will not be happening. They don't think that they will have enough votes. Now Pelosi supposedly wants to call a special session next week and get this thing rolling.

I think the companies need to file bankruptcy or let them go down.

Sue is right.

The Governor of Michigan was there, because this is a bail out of the failed Democrat policies in MI. This is purely a way to buy MI votes and support for their Governor. Its that simple.

Indy

Maybe she was invited to be the poster child on how to ruin an economy. Or she was there to beg for a handout for the auto industry. I know that was considered a temporary economic advisory meeting, but he could not have found better people to be with.

He also had the mayor of Los Angeles. By the way Los Angeles has a huge deficit. As CA has a $20 billion deficit and growing daily. Who knows what it is up to now.

As for change, this is not the change that I want. I respect Warren Buffet, but here is another guy. He is a billionaire, I am not. He thinks he should pay more taxes. Fine, feel free to pay more, but don't keep putting this agenda out there for non-billionaires.

Update: UAW saved

So like I said back in November, this was never about the economy, it was about bailing out the governor. This is all about voting block support for the UAW and buying votes to secure the democrat position in this state. Surprised?
