Public Schools Must Teach Gay Marriage

C. Schools will continue to teach about the responsibilities of marriage. There is no reason to even discuss who is marrying whom. Marriage is marriage.

This is just one more irrelevant bit of inapplicable homophobia. Get over it. Prop 8 already looks like toast. If you don't like same-sex marriage then don't do it.

It's amazing to me that people who identify as conservatives want the government in their bedrooms or at the altar.

So far, the arguments in support if Prop 8 seem to be limited to things like "What's next - polygamy, incest?" Now we can pretend that we cannot differentiate between things like incest (which is illegal) and same-sex marriage but it's an illogical correlation.

Proponents of Prop-8 are also big on the damage to society argument. However, the experience in Massachusetts is in direct contradiction. Mass had the lowest divorce rate in the country before - and since same-sex marriages became lawful.

Science is abundantly clear. Parents cannot control the sexual orientation of their children - any more than their eye color. Stop worrying and stop fear mongering; It is counter-productive.
