Too much of Congress' energy is expended in providing "cover" for their allies, at the expense of doing what's right for the country. You're absolutely right, Nancy is providing cover for Barry. It would be karma for him to have to vote a position on the drilling issue before November. Political power-grabbing has become an artform and the single most obvious reason for politician's votes - damn the country, I want my party to win. Come visit me at Pesky Truth.
