Ten Reprobates Press Release

There is no such thing as a 'moderate' Democrat. Any vote for any Democrat is a vote to destroy our country. Unfortunately I live in the district of Henry 'Warthog' Waxman who ran unopposed last time and I'm not in a position to send money to candidates but I write letters and send my support to anyone in any of these districts who are working to rid our Congress of these left-wing pests.

I have been to the site this morning (sorry I couldn't get there this weekend).

Great letters! And I am glad Childers is on it.

I also like the way a visitor to the site is "teased" to "punch" the button and go to the next page.

Thanks for the link to the site. I will be checking it out now and then. I have to respectfully disagree with Skep41. There are moderate dems out there, and one of my senators is among them. Bayh will not be pushed around and vote for any proposed health care or cap and trade bill, no matter what he's threatened with. I'm proud to have him as my senator.

There are "moderate" Democrats and "moderate" Republicans, but no "moderate" true conservatives and no "moderate" liberal-leftist-fascist statists. True conservatives have at their core reverence for liberty. True statists have at their core license and tyranny, and the obliteration of individual liberty and personal responsibility.

Would we be happy, Garnet92, to replace a Democrat like Evan Bayh with a Republican like Olympia Snowe? Was it a loss to lose Republican Senator Arlen Specter and gain Democrat Senator Arlen Specter?

While I applaud the effort and passion and focus, it occurs to me that if you replace potentially 10 junior congressmen with another 10 junior congressmen, albeit from a different party and albeit in some cases replacing a moderate with a moderate, is such a gain enough to even delay the demise of America by an hour, a day?

Are we approaching a terminal brain cancer patient with an 81mg aspirin and hnoping for a cure? There are, after all, 435 members in the House.

I love this idea!!! I have been talking to different THers about getting a site up for a long time. The main problem is I don't have enough time right now to really take the lead, but this looks fantastic!

I look to have more time in January after I graduate so I will give you a holler around that time and will look to help with time.

your conclusion. You're thinking philosophically, not practically. Replacing those ten democrats (and hopefully more) DOES have an impact - it reduces and/or eliminates the democrat MAJORITY which now enables them to push unAmerican legislation through the House. First, we need to eliminate that majority, everything else comes after that. And it COULD be enough to STOP the demise of America. If we can retake the House, that will HALT Omama's plan to transform America in its tracks. After that, we concentrate on replacing other reps of whatever party.

I love ya DP, and believe me, I often feel like you that the outcome is predetermined and ugly. The only problem is that the outcome hasn't come out yet. We're still here, we're still alive. Don't print any letters 'till we're completely finished with them - just made some revisions last night (Thanks Mrs. AL) and uploaded new letters. Wouldn't hurt to wait a few days, just to be safe. Actually, I've considered pointing out that another 1,500 page bill (soon to be 2,500 pages) can't possibly be read before voting on it. ABSOLUTE BULLCHIT! How long are we going to put up with this lunacy?

Always check The Cook Report, The Hill, for specific items on Reps and Senators. Also, don't forget gar that state legislatures in varied states are important too. For instance, Mich., one of the worst Obama-Granholm socialist high taxed states does have a Pub state Leg. which is hopelessly trying to stop tax hikes by Jennifer. Drop by my latest gar.

the Cook Partisan Voting Index in evaluating the representative's district. I was confused tho - were you referring to Gar Swaffar or me when you used the term "gar"? I do agree that other races are important too but we're concentrating on one specific segment - the democrat majority in the House.

I wish I had a dollar for each hour of research already invested in this project - not only by me but the rest of the group as well. I think that I'll publicize the individual bloggers who have contributed to the project in the next week or two. They deserve the kudos too. Right now, they're "unsung heroes."

Been there quite a bit, really looks good. With 2010 potentially being a good opportunity to clear out some dead wood, the more info that makes it out there and is available the better and is a very good thing!

I don't mean that only 10 will get replaced this time, but smaller groups like this one can't overextend themselves. I mean that THIS group can make a big difference in 10 races this time, then 10 the next, etc. There are/will be more groups like this one working on taking down other anti-Constitutionalists.
