"After the incredibly audacious move by the Marxist Pelosi to remove the Fairness Act from the House rules I am beginning to see some solid grounds for the grievance "No Taxation without Equal Representation" coming to the fore. By effectively silencing our Conservative voices we definitely now have a valid grievance on these grounds. Our government is quickly becoming Tyrannical."
Perhaps we should take our actions from those who uttered these words?

A friend of ours keeps saying "We should throw out the whole bunch of them and start over!" and we answer "You know it can't be done!" but he is convinced it could be done.
When he figures out exactly how I will let you all know.
I try to tell him there are some good congressmen but he doesn't believe me. And it sure is hard to find them.
But , for sure, we are not being "represented" we are being "ruled" and I , for one resent what a group of citizens have done to this country!! Year after year they make things worse, but with morons like Reid and Pelosi in charge what else can we expect!

I suspect I will never hear how to clean out Congress...I can't imagine any solution, can you?
The only possibility is that things get so bad in this country that there is a revolt among the people and they realize in a year or two that the Congress and the President are not going to make things better.
I just heard on the McLaughlin program that when the country was in the tank in Roosevelt's time the people had patience while things stayed bad for 10 years. I don't believe they have that patience nowadays.

Yep, Air via CO2 emissions will certainly be taxed. The problem with libs and taxes is that they not only use it as a means to raise capital they use it as a means to social engineer our society.

I agree, our Founding Fathers never intended our government to have so much control over our daily lives. They must be rolling in their graves. They also probably assumed we would all have more intestinal fortitude to prevent this from ever happening. Time will tell, but I believe we will reach a point of critical mass at some point.

Yeah, they have ignored our highway infrastructure for so long that it is finally biting them squarely upon the buttocks. It would be interesting to see where they have siphoned off all those tax dollars we have paid at the pumps all these years.

Funny how taxes never leave even when they are no longer needed or have fulfilled their original goal. Part of the problem is we can't possibly keep track of them all let alone know when they were supposed to expire.

Yes, humor and God are a badly needed comfort these days.
You are also correct that all we can do is try to make our voice of opposition heard. I think we are speaking into deaf ears right now but maybe by next year some of the people will have removed the wool from their eyes and can see what is actually being perpetrated upon our country by these power hungry maniacs.

I would be if I was not so far away, Wa. state is a bit far from Boston or DC. Great idea though! I am not sure how something like that could be organized but it would send a message. I'm not sure the dolts in DC would catch the drift but it would be worth the try.
