Problem
This is the problem I have with the overly educated ones, even those that I hold in high esteem. They seem to want to ignore the facts in front of them. Pardon me for being simple. We are in a religious war whether we acknowlege it or not.

Very Good
Excellent points all and I like your comprehension of the over arching history. Islam's war against the world didnt start a generation ago...terrorism is only a tactic..the problem ids the ideology that wants to conquer the world.

I don't think they want to ignore the facts..I think they are ultimately driven by a desire to not be marginalized... They are media personalities and I personally beleive that they hold the positions they do out of a politically correct desire to not be seen as bigoted extremeists. Truth isnt the issue..their credibility as "journalist" etc etc is what is at stake and it colors their judgment of the situation.
