Comment on: Knowledge is the Best Medicine

The Constitution is NO Guarantee of Freedom!

Constitutionalism...

Thanks for your witness for truth today in your comment on Dan Kennedy's article.

I agree with your sentiments here. Constitutionalism reflects a culture of Biblical Christianity and cannot be maintained without it.

The knowledge of Christ is the foundation of all knowledge.

Knowledge

Christianity IS the foundation of ALL knowledge. In fact as my Philosophy proff pointed out, 'knowledge' is impossible outside of a Christian world view.

In a world without the Christian God...ALL points of view, as the Left espouses, are 'equally ultimate'. There can be NO right or wrong as the opinion and construction of each individual is at least as valid as any other. No eternal values, no evil, no place to go for final court of arbitration. ALL is permitted and the caveat that 'anything is permitted as long as it does not impinge upon the rights of others' is just the most arbitrary of constructs. So what if what "I" want moves into someone else's property or space? So what? They don't want me to take their 'personal' property, but I want to take it. If I am bigger and stronger...well, hey, there's no God to sit above us in character and form, whose very nature sets the standard by which we can declare the existence of evil.

You see, IF there is no God whose very character gives us the eternal and unchanging measure of good and evil, then they simply can't exist. You say potato and I say potaaaato. You don't like killing babies, I like killing babies. All the same in a Universe that came about by sheerest chance. After all....IF we are JUST animals then what what 'animal' does to another 'animal' is pretty much a big yawn.

The atheist/naturalist project will ALWAYS fail as it cannot account for law, ethics, good, evil, pretty much anything.

Here's some fun in all of this: If God does not exist, you could not argue logically and you could not balance your check book. Best,

BB
