Exclusive Interview: Re-Claiming the 14th District

Great interview...

Where do I give? Here is a candidate that conservatives who are sane, support the troops, and care about life issues can feel good about. And to think I was once a Libertarian...

Libertarians

Tommy,

Being a libertarian doesn't have to be bad... but they have a bad name because of marijuana legalization. I support limited government myself, but I don't support the idea that the government can't legislate morality.

I support...

Ron Paul being removed from office for good... I don't care if he belongs to the Old Gardeners Party; OUT he goes.

If the Libertarians had a bad name before; they went completely overboard with this guy... he's worse then their silly weed infatuation ever was.

re: Great interview

Thanks!

The link to give is at the beginning of the post; his site should be back up shortly.

Maverick

I'm cautious about the "no legislating morality" argument. First of all, ALL legislation is based on morlality. If people had no sense of morality, they would not make laws. Furthermore, things like abortion and divorce increase as it is more legally allowed. and finally, I think that being a responsible citizen requires that we the people decide individually and collectively what is morally good and legislate accordingly.

Libertarians do stand for great things like the right to bare arms and the FairTax. But currently they are under control (at least at a national level) by a more liberal wing and they drive me nuts.

Cary. . .

Big government war-mongering doesn't sound all that conservative to me. . . I haven't commented for a while, but you're not making any more sense.

Maverick. What is a liberal? As of now, the term being undefined, you don't (literally) have any idea what you are talking about.

this guy. . .

is on the government dole, building rocket ships for NASA -- can you spell PATRONAGE

hopefully

hopefully without granting amnesty? Not to worry though, this guy from the government, currently on the government dole, is going to head to the border to see for himself; then he will decree a solution.

Geoff

Bush is NOT a conservative... at least not anymore. Nor did I even mention ANYTHING about liberals. You, sir, are the one who doesn't know what you're talking about.

Geoff

Hey, Geoff, YOU can spell "patronage". Good job!!!

thank you

thank you, indeed, you piece of patriotic snot

and you can't

define a liberal?

What are you talking about?

On a different tack, how do you know what is moral?

the comment was

directed at the Patriotic Snot, talking about "more liberal wings" whatever that means -- I suppose opposition to these "wars" on everything -- but I don't know for sure what was meant.
