Romney At The Founding

I concur

I hope to see that this speech will be the tipping point in this nomination process, and all Conservatives and even politically moderate people of faith will read and/or see this monumentous speech.

Mitt Romney for President in 2008!

Romney's speech, itself, can let us make the assertion that Mitt could have stood and addressed the delegates at the Continental Congress. We Americans YEARN always to be inwardly identified with the roots of our country, with the souls who were there at the Founding. It is one of the tasks of our President to rise up and give this recognition in his speeches. Reagan did it. Jack Kennedy did it. Eisenhower did it. We know that Adlai Stevenson could have done it and did something like it when he faced down the Soviets at the UN. We have seen Mitt Romney do it. Let's see if our other candidates can reach deep, speak and inspire us to rise to his occasion, which is our patriotic occasion. That is what an election is supposed to be. An acknowledgement that a special person is MEANT to be our President.

And this is why the demagogic Clintonistan involvement in our politics is so dangerous. His behavior in the Oval Office ought to shame her into any return there. The outrage we ought to still feel about what that man did, and what his wife enabled him to do, should by rights prevent their return, as the White House staff still so fervently prays against. They behaved in an unrighteous way there. And will again, if they can fix it for themselves to get back in there over the protestations and ruins of many people and with the help of their international cohorts.

We know that the Romneys will honor the White House, just as George and Laura have. Anyone reading this post know in their hearts that we cannot hope for the same from our opponents. Their Alinskian ideology uses religion for anti religious ends. Hillary Rodham is a Communist.
That is what she has been telling the world she is ever since Wellesley and Yale and Oakland, California. It is about time we see that this is the case and it is for this reason that she cannot create and deliver the kind of edifying, heart healing, soulful, American PATRIOTIC address that Mitt Romney just gave.

It is from this attitude that our civic religion articulated by Jefferson and Franklin in the Declaration should speak to our judgement. There is no need to bicker about theological differences. Mitt Romney is asking of us to see the Presidency in this light and to believe that he can stand in this light and do us proud.
