Taliban Funeral Debacle...
This was one of the major turning points afk (Cary). One of the many. Harriet Meirs, Dubai ports, calling the Minutemen vigilantes, etc. And then the Taliban Funeral debacle. In each event the Conservative Base began to steam and smolder a bit more. Until now its way too late for the President. Too much water under the bridge.
I waited after that news to hear that Rumsfeld had can't the General responsible for that decision and sent him off to run the Pentagon Laundry. But we never heard a peep.

Govt Fraud
When I returned from the 'police action' I came to Austin and registered at The University of Texas and then continued on to my parents house further to the North.
After being honorably discharged I decided to apply for a whole life policy offered by The National Service Life Insurance Company {NSLIC}, a federal agency located in Philadelphia, PA., and the inception of the policy was 1956.
My question to all of you is how would you feel if someone at NSLIC copied your signature and then applied a $60,000.00 loan against your policy without your knowledge. This is exactly what happened to me, and as I approach my 75th birthday you will also understand that I do not have the funds to hire a lawyer. So far NSLIC has confiscated over $45,000.00 in interest earned to pay for the loan I did not make and the elected officials will not help me. It has been and still is a great effort on my part to stay angry as opposed to entering a state of depression, and now I have accepted the fact that I can do nothing but accept the fact that this federal agency will continue to take the interest earned and force me to pay for the loan I did not make while some jerk got the money and probably paide off his mortgage.
After serving my military time and receiving an honorable discharge it is with dismay that I now can do nothing to initiate a legal action to fight this fraud.
