Good luck with taking up a second language. I believe business purpose is a good reason to become bilingual, however the appeasement of illegals that would (I assume) not be in the same business as an educated man such as yourself.

I plan on learning Italian soon. I tried taking Spanish and French and it didn't interest me enough. My grandparents are here (legally I might add) from Italy.

Actually try taking Latin for kicks. It's super easy to learn and it will help you with other languages (including English), root words, and any science courses you may entertain.

Good for you to want to learn another language! -- Knowing another language can open many doors -- I have lived in Mexico for 12 years and have learned to speak Spanish -- Still difficult sometimes because they can speak so fast! -- However, you will find it very logical as there are only five vowel sounds and they are always the same -- Such as O is pronounced O -- Muy buena suerte a ti! --
