Original intent
The founding fathers were dismayed when they realized early that the country would have two parties. That was never the original intent.Thre was never supposed to be a named party at all, simply elected representatives from each colony. The numbers being decided by population. The Senate was a secondary needed check on the balance of power so the less populace States would not be shut out of debate or legislation. The fact that only men that owned land were originally allowed to vote. This arguement has merit if thought out rationally. The unfortunate circumstance we find ourselves in today stems directly from the people who do not have any interest in contributing to the nation.I refer to the ones that did not earn their stature as property owners or earn anything at all. People that are given what they have do not respect it and they cant see the difference between them and the ones that sweat blood for what they have.We owe the people who had an idea, busted their butts 100 hours a week, made a success of themselves and yes-became rich, a great debt.Instead of hating the rich as liberals do we should realize they are responsible for all things in this country. Now,and for the last century, with Presidents like JFK,Reagan and Bush who see the light and take the tax burden off their shoulders alone bringing back to life inspiration to become rich, the rule has been to kill the goose that lays the golden eggs. This latest effort is the boldest effort yet to slay this bird who has saved the world three times-WW1,WW2 and the cold war have freed three quarters of the worlds population.
