Now What?

The conservative cause has had plenty of ups and downs. Interestingly, midterm elections for the incumbency party almost always goes bad. It is even worse for the sixth year of a president who goes two terms. Even Reagan had it tough during those 6th year midterms. There were a lot of factors that brought the dismal night, but one that should not be forgotten is the historical trend. I'm not saying that fate rules - just that there are certainly historical patterns that can be predictive. We will regroup and press forward.
