Palin: Clueless, empty blouse.
McCain did no vetting of Palin before he chose her. He let his little head do the thinking for his big head.
Palin can't even influence her own daughter to keep her legs together. How do you suppose she is going to influence world leaders?
She couldn't even name the 3 nations involved in NAFTA..though she is a citizen of one and another borders on her state.

Educating Sarah
The idea that "McCain did no vetting of Palin" is preposterous. It also presupposes that it was a bad decision, which it is not. In fact it was probably one of the best decisions that John and his little campaign managing buddies came up with. It gave us hope for a few weeks before the mainstream rottweiler press were allowed to get their teeth into her. Instead of putting her in front of the crowds at every opportunity they held back. Another dumb decision by the McCain campaign.
The comment about her daughter doesn't really deserve a comment, except to say that the Palins will have a grandchild. If the same thing happened in the Obama household, I imagine that no-one would be 'punished with a baby.'
Whether she knew the members of NAFTA or not I would rather someone with her executive experience than an empty suit with good general knowledge.

NEXT YEAR PEOPLE
won't even remember who Sarah Palin was.
She is just another pretty face used to gather interest in a campaign that was doomed to failure from the start.
McCain would have been far better off if he had chosen Condalezza Rice (I doubt she would have accepted). That woman does have an excellent grasp of foreign affairs, experience and is probably the most intelligent woman in Washington, DC. She would have countered Obama's minority status (Palin's job)and provided McCain with much needed advice.
