Here we are to day, and another shooting in FLORIDA. This time by a deranged mexican.

What do you know and think about it ?

If he is ILLEGAL you know they will sweep it under the rug, just like we will NEVER know

Yes, this was an act of terrorism against this great country and against the military, who schooled Hasan up to the position of psychiatrist. I blame the military and the Federal Government for ignoring all the signs of Hasan's behavior over the years. They were attempting to be politically correct, when in fact many wonderful people's lives will forever be changed because of their lack of judgment.
The president's speech regarding this crisis was a disgrace. He made some light-hearted, cutesy comments regarding a tribal announcement. And as a mere afterthought expressed his thoughts about the people who were killed and injured at Fort Hood. He was very dispassionate and disconnected about the entire incident. Just more evidence that Obama does not respect and honor this great country and the military personnel who sacrifice much to protect us.

The shooting in Orlando was commited by a disgruntled ex-employee. A far cry from a premeditated terrorist attack on US soldiers.

While Obama was silent about the fatal terrorist shooting of Private William Long by Abdul Hakim Muhammad at Little Rock last June, he strongly condemned the murder of abortion doctor George Tiller several days before. The one was an attack on the US military which defends our rights, liberties and free way of life against foreign enemies, while the other was an attack on the abominable practice of abortion which kills unborn babies by the millions. Both murders were heinous crimes but unequal in degree as the jihadist killing of Private Long was far worse and more evil.

To understand just how mentally confused and foolish Obama is contrast the terrible consequences to our country if jihadists were able to annihilate all our soldiers as opposed to Christian fanatics killing every abortion doctor. In the one case our enemies would overrun our country, in the other case the holocaust of abortions would end. Is it any wonder that the military lacks respect for Obama? From the generals on down he is the most despised and detested commander-in-chief since LBJ.

By the way, Colonel Lee reports that he overheard Nidal Hasan praising Abdul Muhammed's gunning down of Long; it appears that this murder was the inspiration behind his premeditated religious rampage.

Apollo: Thanks for the correction regarding my remarks about the military. I am very pleased that the military despise Obama that will hopefully translate into votes for the good guys 2010/2012.

"radical Moslem jihadist"? Why not just say Moslem Jihadist? I still go back to what a missionary told me about Islam (he spent years in the Middle East) ... the only "radical" Moslems are those who want to live in peace. Was he wrong?

All Moslems want to live in peace. The more grown up Moslems are tolerant of other faiths; while the intolerant ones want to give us the peace of the grave.
