Conflicted about use of "Hussein" - Help me

none of that addresses the question of the validity of using Senator Obama's middle name as a political weapon.

On policy alone, Senator Obama is a far left nutcase.

Sit down with our enemies and sing "come-by-ya?" Give me a break... unless he plans to strap a suicide vest on his stupid butt and blow 'em up..... say.... that's not a bad idea.....

When I said I had mot made up my mind on the issue, I did mean exactly that.

You present good arguments. I'm not a big fan of "the end justifies the means" reasoning, but I acknowledge that sometimes there is no option but to get dirty.

Like I said, Senator Obama's personal ties to Islam and his name are more indicative of the mindset of the left wing of the Democratic Party than of the Senator himself. It's hard to separate the two, however, when he is the nominee-presumptive.

It's an issue for me that will have to percolate for a while before I decide.

I've often noticed the obvious love / hate relationship the democrats have with themselves. They often contradict their own positions. And stranger even, seem not to notice it! Go figure.

On the issue of his middle name, I'm with you. He was an infant, and let's face it, it's kind of hard to hold someone's birth name against them.

But then there's the fact that the left almost falls over themselves (or faints) to make him their savior BECAUSE of his name and former connection with the muslim religion.

a) Considering the rants of his preacher, I'm not so sure of his Christianity. That preacher ain't Christian.
b) Obama's running away from his heritage as fast as he can. He's emphasizing his blackness when he's only half-black and was raised by his white mother and her family in a middle-class white culture. His book says that when he got busted by the cops for some misdeed, his parents cried and prayed to Jesus...when his father and step father were both Muslim and his mother was athiest. He is proud of that middle name when it suits him.

I thought BHUSSEINO was originally named Barry (something) Soetoro? Didn't he change his name to BHUSSEINO? If in fact, he chose to change his name to BHUSSEINO, I have no compunction about using HUSSEIN when referring to him. I believe it is a badge he chose to wear, and should be worn outside his vest for all to see.
