My Personal Beliefs

I think it's great whenever you take the time to law out your political beliefs, and just say this is me. I diagree with you on some things (no two people are the same) however I am on a mission of correction on one thing.

Abortion will always, always be legal in America. Scalia, Thomas, Alito, and Roberts all believe that an abortion is protected under the 10th amendment. I am pro-choice but personally pro-life, it's fine to vote for conservatives but this belief that by voting "pro-life" you are going to help end abortion is wrong. Every woman as long as abortion is legal should have the equal right, in my view, to have an abortion. If we have a state by state drastic change in abortion law, abortion will become a luxury item for only the rich to afford, as all they would have to do is book a trip to Manhattan. I don't like abortion at all but there is something wrong with denying rights to people (in terms of oppertunity) based on their income.

Sorry also as a new blogger to Townhall, just wanted to say hello and welcome you to the Townhall blogging community. It's a great way to network with other bloggers and you get a great audience read. I hope you'll continue posting, most people here agree with you and not me, so it's a little less annoying.

You, like myself, see the way the feds have become that center of all things governmental that the founders warned us about, and did their best to prevent. All of the government's actions not specified in Art. 1 Sect. 8 are illegal regardless of any court rulings.

I have quite a few posts on the Constitution and its intent. I welcome any comments you may have if you were to choose to do so.
