Thanks for sharing this.

I hope every one of our group reads it and passes it on.

Awesome!

I think I'll post this on my facebook.
Thanks.

That is my hope, that word gets out we will never forget or dishonor those who offered their time - and even lives - in our defence.

I saw that. Thank you for helping to raise awareness.

Thank you for your efforts. The men and women who served deserve so much more than we can give.

I'm glad the store manager called for 2 minutes to remember... We can definitely see those who care about those serving here and abroad and those who don't. Great song.

Hard to forget

The oldest (ex-Navy)boy's birthday is Vets day, and just try to keep my Pastor from recognizing the Vets... doesn't work.
"Those who serve, deserve" much of the rest of us. The least we can do is to acknowledge the sacrifices they made and/or are making.

I like this and hope..

churches et al will actually do it. I will write a few church people I know as pastors and see if they might just do this. Drop by friend.

"A Pittance of Time"

Thanks so much, Saltwater, for sharing another great find! What a powerful message! I join with everyone else and will pass it on, too!

I read recently of the meaning of wearing a poppy in rememberance of WWI. The red poppies thrived on those bloody fields of battle. In grade school in the 50s, we did wear them, it was "fun" to have a red poppy. I will always stand with our Military over any politician or political party. I thank God everyday for all our brave heroes. They deserve no less ...

Sage post and required viewing

for every American. I wonder...will it be mandatory viewing for all school children, similar to the President’s most recent effort to educate our youth?
