What if Obama Shows Up in One of Reverend Wright's Videos?

I find Obama's denials unbelievable. Wright's rants constitute more than just a few minutes of bad words among thousands of hours of peace loving sermons.

Obama needs to explain his positions on black liberation theory, black separatism, and slavery reparations, themes that Wright has espoused for decades. Merely denouncing Wright's statements, without even identifying which statements are being denounced is disingenuous, to say the least.

What upsets me is not so much that Obama has associated with these people, that is almost to be expected for a far left politician. What upsets me is the ease with which he denounces close friends of many years. The cynicism and political opportunism implicit in that act makes me wonder how so many can see him as "different from other politicians".

If anything, this guy is more opportunistic and sleazy than even Hillary, and that is saying something.

As slimy politicians go, Senator Obama is particularly slippery.

Anyone who trusts two words that issue forth from his mouth is naive.

Even if he "explain(s) his positions" on his church's racism, such explanations will be dishonest to the core.

Asking Senator Obama to "explain his positions" about racism is like asking the Nazi Albert Speer to do the same in 1946.... you will get zero honesty and a lot of misdirection, obfuscation and denial.

Who is not hoping he will be caught on video in the audience when one of these hate- and lie-spews is occurring? Who is not hoping he will be caught on video in the audience clapping and swaying and grinning?

Everyone who has ever had a camera trained anywhere during one of these ravings is scouring the video for just one picture. Just one.

Isn't everyone waiting for the denouement?

Good piece by the way. I just wonder if this crazy uncle would wind up in the Lincoln bedroom? Or who else would/will turn up aquainted with Obama? I think Axelrod is out of options. The guy has not been challenged about nuch since dubbing him "the rising star" of the Democrat Party. He's run up a tab.
