...like it or not, we are a two party government.

Since when? The two party system was established by the political elites the founding fathers disparraged. It was implemented for political expediency. No where in the Constitution is their an article that creates only two parties. No where is there a statement about the creation of any party.

We are a two party system by choice; the choice not of the citizens but of the career politicians.
