Ragin' Palin

Where Ya Been?

great assessment. I think she did exactly what she needed to do, which is heartening considering the abuse that's been heaped on her. She did her part keeping McCain in the race - now it's up to him to do his part. He's been ina tough situation this week having to vote for that unholy "rescue" bill. If he doesn't come out now and hit Obama hard on freddie, Fannie and ACORN - as well as all his commie ties, I think the economy will do McCain in. I hope I am wrong. It's great to see you blog - been a while... keep it up - we all enjoy reading your stuff.

Palin kicked his butt

OF course, the Media says the opposite, but we who watched know the truth.

you guys, here's what biden says

about the iran situation in the transcript:

Can I clarify this? This is simply not true about Barack Obama. He did not say sit down with Ahmadinejad.

The fact of the matter is, it surprises me that Senator McCain doesn't realize that Ahmadinejad does not control the security apparatus in Iran. The theocracy controls the security apparatus, number one.

Number two, five secretaries of state did say we should talk with and sit down.

...

Our friends and allies have been saying, Gwen, "Sit down. Talk. Talk. Talk." Our friends and allies have been saying that, five secretaries of state, three of them Republicans.

And John McCain has said he would go along with an agreement, but he wouldn't sit down. Now, how do you do that when you don't have your administration sit down and talk with the adversary?

And look what President Bush did. After five years, he finally sent a high-ranking diplomat to meet with the highest-ranking diplomats in Iran, in Europe, to try to work out an arrangement.

...

this sounds like some VERY fancy dancing, but "barack didn't do that" seemed to be overwhelmingly lost in the blizzard of "talk, talk, talk" blather from icecap joe.

at least barack said he wanted to "talk," right joe? i'm not too reassured.

to me, it sounds like

a single breath devoted to biden saying "he didn't do that" versus his windbag soliloquy on why it would have been admirable anyway if he had.

ON THE DEFENSE

the whole debate. She rocked him back on his heels.

oh yeah??

well, you come on down to the home depot with me, sister, and you'll see what's really goin' down...

big fool

for sister sarah.

that guy makes my skin crawl. i can't believe obama did this to himself. granted, he may win anyway. ah, but at such a cost!

Beltway Girl

I am sure the pantsuit brigade was watching this at home probably think that it should have been Hillary and Sarah debating. Still rumblings among the pants verus the capri pants going on here!

I guess I missed the entire boat with Obama trying to be Kennedy. So, he chooses Caroline Kennedy to help with the VP choice. And let me say, that was not a good choice.

As for Biden, he did okay, I think Palin did better. And I saw last night a man who will never be on the top of the ticket and quite frankly I don't think really cares too much for the top of the ticket guy.

Meg Ryan with an agenda!

Sarah Palin was the person we all were searching for during the primaries to be the nominee. She is a more capable and talented politician than any of the three senators that are on the ballot. Her attacks hit home every time.Because of her we can still win this and win it big.

sue, in a way,

choosing biden was quite smart. but in a bizarre way. biden is so utterly unattractive, so catty, so winded, so grating, so, so, SO much so... so completely devoid of any engaging quality that he make ANYONE next to him look like the ultimate fairy prince.

minus the collapsing economy, barack would have needed hillary. but in the same way that rasputin obama knew it wouldn't rain when it was this is spinal tap at mile-high, obama perhaps knew the economy would come apart... but that would've been because he helped to cause it. so i guess this wouldn't be as mysterious...

If you haven't seen it yet...

the New york Times acknowledges OPbama/Ayers connection. Not wuite the puff piece you would expect. It's almost truly objective...

chad

yup, and maybe now ayers will be sleeping in the lincoln bedroom. hope he doesn't blow anything up...
