If it were anywhere but San Francisco, I would be bitterly incensed, but the "flower power" capital of America still has a stench which I can't quite place. Anyway, because the Golden Gap is still a part of America, I do object to this kind of leftist idiocy. I really enjoyed your accurate characterization -- "This is a sorry state." (ILLEGAL) immigrants are being treated like criminals because they are criminals. They do this:

[1] They cross the borders illegally.

[2] They steal SS#s and other documents.

[3]They avoid buying insurance for cars.

[4] They pump up the # of dependents on their W2 forms, then fail to file either state or federal returns. They avoid taxes, a felony.

[5] They are deep in crime and assist others in criminal activities. They are abetting crime, a felony.

Fill the jails with them.

needs to have their own revolt against their city's "leaders", not to mention those of the state as a whole. Nothing I think or say matters or will ever matter, but if it did, Illegals and their twisted sympathyzers would all be kicked out of the country with very unpleasant penalties if ever they returned. Same with employers who hire them. We are way to soft here in the USA. To heck with making everybody "feel good"; feeling good needs to be earned by abiding by the law, treating others as we would be treated,taking responsibility for ourselves, learning to APPRECIATE what God has given us and slapping people silly who can't abide by that. It does seem nowadays that each and every level, local, state and federal areas of govt. try the common sense of many American patriots with their PC baloney in enforcing or not,not enforcing laws. Sanctuary cities. Not allowing Sheriff Joe A. to give testimony to a federal House comm. on HIS TERMS, not theirs. Not enforcing laws by local police to pick up illegals and then having ICE boss, Janet use her power to let some go without any court appearances. Iowa courts allowing gay marriage because of 'civil rights violations.'.........Are you kidding? All the anti-Christian laws on Bibles, prayer, 10 Commandments. If someone just wrote a tome on all the PC laws that were now being enforced in the USA, it would resemble the Britannica. Drop by my latest friend.

Those were posted about the time I stumbled on Townhall and I missed them. I read the HAS post and that's a masterpiece of California tripe. It (unfortunately) really captures the mindset of the left out there - and to a great degree - the philosophy of Obeemee. The reference links don't work anymore but you did a fantastic job of assembling the info - big time kudos for that post. Gotta feed my face now but will come back to read the NO VISION one later.

Great analysis. If Mexifornia keeps up this sanctuary nonsense, La Raza may just get what they are asking for, another bankrupt, destitute he*#-hole, just like most of the rest of Central America. I have friends and relatives out there, and they are considering bailing out. Law of unintended consequences, as usual.

OK run a $42 billion dollar deficit, I can forgive that. Harbor dangerous foreign felons, we all make mistakes. Destroy the business climate, corrupt the schools and the universities, hire your friends and relatives to cushy overpaid state consultancies but WHY? The scary thing is that the left wants the rest of the country to be just like Kalifornia. After all, isn't Kalifornia on the leading edge of EVERYthing? Frankly, I think that the rest of the country should treat Kalifornia just the way that Oakland treats our military recruiters.

The only thing revolting about San Francisco is the "Gay Pride Parade," and the Folsom Street Fair and those who promote those revolting events. If that's what passes for enlightenment, I'll remain in the dark, thank you. Those are not just events directed at gays, they are IN YOUR FACE deviates of all sorts "expressing" their relevancy to the normal world in a display of "If You Don't Like It, You Can Kiss My A*$."

They got over $15 million in FEDERAL grants last year - some of which was for "get out the vote" efforts. Sounds like La Raza is the Mexican counterpart of ACORN - and about as worthless. I never liked any kind of liver anyway, but don't those little foie grasses have the right to grow up to be pated? How dare they discriminate against foie grasses that yearn to become pate? It just shows to go that they are not sensitive to the needs of liver.

California idoes have a wram, beautiful, inviting climate. Beyond the crazy population, it only has one big Flaw. There are those, (I am not among them), who believe that California has become the moral cesspool it has for a reason, and that would be because it's so easy to break off half the state, and scuttle it at sea. If you look closely, I'd bet that at least 70% of the population lives on the seaward side of the San Andreas, and probably 90-95% within an hours drive. Coincidence? Who can say.

Maybe God in His infinite wisdom has caused a certain type of person to move to the seaward side of the fault for a reason? I wouldn't go so far as to wish that a quake would happen - but a really bad shaking might bring some sanity to those who believe that anything goes. A really good scare might scare them "straight."
