Maybe Salem could get it right someday

If it weren't a town steeped in a drug culture and a society of miscreants. When people in Salem in business openly are involved in the drug trade and the criminals run the town maybe it would be different. You never know. But Salem is the type of place that reminds one of a sleazy Mayberry. Salem would not have the issues that it does if they would get some decent paying industry and not the slave labor paying plants that have been attracted to the community. Other than GKN, Kimballs, and Hawk, you can pretty much write off the rest of the community. As far as paying jobs working at some slime hole making 7 or 8 bucks an hour is hardly the equivalent of economic progress.

In fact, one would have to wonder what powerful weed the people up there are smoking especially since they seem to think that everyone can work for 8 bucks an hour. Hardly called progress.
