A Response to Montana Fats

If you want to discourage readers from following your argument and to stop all discussion dead in its tracks, this is definitely the response format to choose. It's difficult to read and impossible to reply to, at least using the same format as you've chosen here.

Imagine reading a response to your response to Montana Fats' response to your original post, all with an increasing number of right arrows! >>>>>>>> Ahhhh!!!!

You're smart enough to forsee the negative effect this has on comprehensibility and further discussion, and that that is why you so often choose this format. It's certainly your right to do so, but just be aware that it will inevitably lead to the other kids not wanting to play in your sandbox.

I want all of you out there reading to know that 99% of my response was just pulling my brother's leg. I think I went a little overboard and didn't intend to end up appearing as vituperative as I did. I'm glad Slim's doing this and I really do respect his opinions. It's just so hard for me to agree with him in public, even when I do in private! Got to give him a little s___ now and then, whether he deserves it or not!
