Hello, Glenn--and Happy Presidents' Day anyway.

By this Wednesday it will be exactly 11 months until Inauguration Day. I am sure we will be older and--hopefully--wiser by then. Can I imagine the junior senator from Illinois as the next commander-in-chief? When was the last time in US history that a new president entered the White House with so little experience? It was certainly before the nuclear era and the current war on Islamo-fascism. Once in the Oval office, I believe, Obama will have to let down his impassioned supporters as he learns the realities of life in the real world. He will begin Day One on a learning curve--and lowering expectations will be the result. How long will his "honeymoon" be--even if there is a Democrat-controlled Congress?

Well, perhaps this is "the winter of our discontent". Blessings anyway, John

The statements of Michelle Obama turns my stomach. To be unhappy with the USA after all their blessings is sick. That is the liberal mentality. What a nation we will be under this pacifist socialist !
