I have some questions for you. If we look at countries around the world who have legalized marriage, what percent have gays and lesbians get married? percent. We know also in these countries their his a high percentage of children born to lesbian women. We know from social studies that these children have a higher likely hood of drinking, drug abuse, crime, abusive, and gang violence, etc. As far as religious freedoms, not true. The catholic church in boston closed its adoption offices because gays sued the church for not allowing gays to adopt. My religious beliefs are effected by gays. I am not allowed to teach my children that the bible teaches gays marriage is wrong. In Mass., the public schools are allowed to teach the kids about gays marriage and that is ok. Sorry, that is not wHAT i BELIEVE. I will give you that i can't preach to you if you choose not to hear me, but at the same time you have the right in impede my beliefs. LASTLY, gays and lesbians have the same rights in the federal courts that we do. We are talking about marriage and the fact this was founded as christian nation. The will of the people can't be subvented every step of the way. I appreciate your comments.
