It's a New Year

And thanks for the mention. I checked out that DevianART site, and it's awesome! There's some really kewl photography on there, and after I write this, I'll probably spend the next couple of hours (at least) over there.

This isn't the "inauguration of 'President-Elect' Obama" -- it's the coronation. Or maybe beatification. Or deification. But certainly not something as plebeian as an inauguration.

I tried all day to shield myself from any inauguration blather. I watched many episodes of "Little Bear" with my little guys.

Maybe you've seen this already:

Black Africans were the original captors and sellers of the black slaves that were taken to America.

Accordingly, it is conceivable that Barack Obama's ancestors were the ones who originally enslaved the ancestors of many of today's black Americans.

In fact, it is conceivable that Barack Obama's ancestors were the ones who originally enslaved the ancestors of Michelle Obama.

The big question here is:

Will Barack pay reparations?

When we were watching our grandson three days a week, "Little Bear" was his 2nd favorite show. "Thomas the Tank Engine" was #1 in his book. I sure was surprized one day when watching the screen credits, George Carlin was the narrator. Imagine Carlin doing his schtick WHILE doing "Thomas" at the same time.

As I am certain you know, Lincoln had commissioned a group to investigate the question of "repatriating" all blacks to West Africa. Congress had appropriated $600,000 for the study and initial administration of the plan. Lincols was assassinated before the committe had presented its conclusions formally.

My question! Will Obama give me half a million to go back to Northern Ireland? That's my compromise for the damages and mental suffering he and the Libs have created during the past generation.
