It can't be the sun!
You are so wrong. The sun has nothing to do with warming the earth. The only thing that warms the earth are the SUVs greedy corporate CEOs drive. I wish you evil conservatives would realize that.
I jest, of course.

THE SUN
I've always enjoyed the feel of sunshine on my face, especially with a nice summer breeze now and then to cool the steady warmth.
Of course, now I'm sorry I enjoyed so much of that. First there were the freckles, which, when there were enough of them, blended together to make me appear as though I had a tan.
Being wiser now (need I mention older?), I know I should have used sunscreen, but in those early, early days there was no such thing.
I've often compared summer and winter and made the comment that in summer there is no frantic, immediate, absolute need to get out of it, as opposed to winter, when one knows of a certainty he will freeze where he stands if he does not retire to a warm place.
It's difficult for most of us to wrap our minds around anything so historical as global warming or cooling.
In the meantime, most of us will enjoy the feel of sunshine on our faces in summer and will race to warmth wherever possible to avoid certain death from the bitterness of cold.
I am not dismissing your obviously learned essay on this subject, but simply making a statement that most of us can't understand the problem and its historical millenia. That includes many people who so profess to do.

What is the difference? The drooling left can just say that now they need to cut emissions to stop the cooling and go grunting and grabbing for more tax money.
