You have the One pegged. When I heard in early 07 that he would likely run for president, I was fairly excited as I had the belief that America could benefit from a black president, especially if he turned out to be a good, or even mediocre president. Not being one who votes blindly, I bought both of his books and read them. Stunned is too weak a word. This guy was audacious. He left no doubt in the minds of anyone who knew anything about statism, communism, fascism, or socialism, or, esecially about Alinsky, as to what his words meant. NOTHING! Anything necessary to gain power is OK, because without power you can't do anything. So, lie, steel, become a community organizer, sleep with Acorn and Ayers, just get the power. Then you are one of the Haves, not the Have Nots.

Obama has mastered Alinsky's methods. That's what I've been trying to tell people ever since.

Brian, you left out the fact that all of this would happen in his 1st year. I watched the lead-up to the 2008 election like I have watched no other. I listened to the speeches and could not believe what I was hearing from either candidate. But Obama is doing exactly what he set out to do. Destroy the America we have all come to love and compete in as part of our daily lives. His vision for this country leads one to believe that he is seeking revenge upon anyone that has worked hard and earned a decent living. He is willing to use anyone that allows him to do so and does not blink at the thought of what a "nanny" state will do to this great nation built upon historical achievements by brave and intelligent men and women. When I look at the events in Iran unfolding after the election, I wonder if that is possible in the United States. Unfortunately, when I see the quick irrationale decisions made by the current administration and congress acknoledging that they are unaware of the bills in which they voting for, anything becomes possible because the men and women of this country can only take but so much before they will be forced to react. The Tea Parties are simply the beginning and I believe that the non-violent marches are heading to DC in the very near future that will make the million man march seem very insignificant when comparing numbers.
