Could Osama Bomb "The Bachelor"?
American television gives me a deep respect for America's terrorist enemies. Now, don't get me wrong. I don't LIKE the jihadists. I don't think that blowing up INNOCENTS is a good thing. But I'd have to throw back a beer in Osama's honor if he could get a mass murderer onto the set of some TV show where a bisexual internet celebrity shows off her boobs and gets a collection of self-absorbed creeps of both genders to compete for her sexual attentions.
Unfortunately, I understand that we will never work out an arrangement where Al Quaida settles for killing liberal media personalities and the rest of us don't have to bow to Mecca five times a day.
And, yeah, the liberal derangement about Rupert Murdoch is... well... about as bizarre and factually inaccurate as most liberal derangements.

Hmm...
I'd never advocate the murder of anyone, not even the likes of Tila Tequila, but stuff like this certainly gives the jihadists ammo. In their twisted way of thinking, they lump everyone in with the absolute worst elements of our popular culture. Plus there's that strange obsession with making the strictest possible interpretation of sharia the law of the planet.

Sharia Lends Itself to Strictness
Exposure to a largely Christian world view tends to make one assume that sin is usually pardonable. Jesus doesn't go into Hell in any great detail, and his ministry focuses heavily on (and makes the ultimate display of) forgiving those that screw up and loving your fellow man.
Muhammad loved to talk about Hell. When you grow up on stories about all the sorts of demons waiting to pour boiling water through your innards, you probably try to err on the side of caution when it comes to religious observations.
The incredible lack of forgiveness in Muhammad's ministry probably drives many faithful Muslims to jump at the "instant ticket to Heaven" provided by martyrdom in jihad.
