Money and Delegates
I am trying to figure out why all that money?
Why don't they give them $50,000 a piece and see how creative they can work with that budget. That would be new.
Every time I see the totals, I just cringe, especially why they are touting Health Care to all...global warming plans...
As for Delegates, Super Delegates, Super Wuper Delegates, etc., they need to go.

re: money and delegates, Sue...
That's all I'm trying to say. We have a very flawed way of choosing our President.
Everyone talks about reforming everything EXCEPT for the way the parties choose their candidates
One state has a caucus, another has a popular vote by party members, another has both, another has open primaries. Some are winner take all while others apportion their delegates.
In short, it's a mess and it has given us two very bad choises for President.
But it is amazing that we will survive as a free republic ...even after one of these two attempt to destroy it.
Hey we survived Jimmy Carter.

I don't think we will see any reform any time soon.
I have to admit that this election I did actually learn more about delegates and caucuses than I did before. It is strange that some states hold primaries, while others do the caucus. Doesn't Texas do both?
Can we have a do-over?
Yes, we lived through Carter!
