Poker players vote!

The Poker Players Alliance now has over 1 million members, and you can be sure they had negative feelings toward the GOP on Election Day. For those of you who thought something like "who cares about poker" when reading my blog, ask yourself if you wanted to lose all these votes for something you don't see as important.

And, what did the busybody big government folks who wanted to ban online poker get? Well, now we have a government more likely to pass legislation making poker clearly legal (which is fine with me), but we also have one that will work against the interests of all conservatives. IMO the nanny-staters fought for things "nice to have" rather than the "must-haves", and he lost both. Not a well-played hand IMO.
