On the Economy

I had the pleasure of attending an Excellence in Broadcasting retreat in Coral Gables over the weekend. Some of the thinking lobe of the media’s brain were there….Sean Hannity, Ann Coulter, Bill O’Reilly and yours truly. We were discussing the things GW Bush has done for the US in the last eight years that the liberal media refuses to recognize. They are:
1. Job creation. The wars in Iraq have created much work and travel opportunities for those in the military. In fact, many service people are re-upping to keep their jobs abroad.
2. Brought dignity back to the White House. After that sex pervert Bill Clinton got a hummer from Monica Lewinsky in the Oval Office, the dignity of the office was at a new low. Since George Bush took office eight years ago, there has been no sex in the White House.
3. Restored a sense of hope in the American people. Before last year’s election, hope was taken for granted and never relied upon. Now hope is the stuff of political slogans and is on the minds of people throughout America.
