Best post I ever read on Townhall.

I think that you may want to change clause 8 slightly. That part about commerce between the states in article 3 can be abused, I think. And the "general welfare" clause in clause 1 may lend itself to a too broad interpretation.

Other than that, a brilliant idea.

I especially like the rules against direct taxation.
