Global Harming

It's no mystery to me why liberals would latch onto elitist ideas. It's because the typical leftist is an immature, brash, emotionally motivated adolescent - regardless of age. When liberals pause to actually think they move nearly inevitably rightward. But as long as their feelings trump their rationality they'll remain prisoners of their own mushy thinking.

Michael Savage makes me think. That's why I love his show. I was thinking about his famous line "liberalism is a mental disorder" and connecting it to his discussion of some time ago that Islamic fundamentalists are death worshippers. Indeed they are, as they admit to it themselves, saying that while we in the West love life they love death. (An appropriate Bible verse comes to mind here, "He who hates God loves death.") Anyway, trying to understand the irrational hatred liberals have for traditional American values such as love of God, family and country makes me think that maybe they aren't so different from the Islamo-fascists. Most of the left, both their elitist leaders as well as the average, middle class leftists have been influenced all their lives by our Judeo-Christian heritage. The great freedoms and the high standard of living they enjoy now are the result of Judeo-Christian principles being applied to the daily lives of Americans. Capitalism works! But I believe they hate life. Well, they love it but they hate it. The haunting spectre of eternal hell hangs around in the back of their minds even though they may profess to be atheists. What they know is that they hate God and will NOT repent for their rebellious ways and seek His face and follow Him. They know where they're going after this life and so they are determined to fight back at the God they will not obey by trying to break down every noble and just and decent value that is a part of our God-blessed lives. Their vowed enemy is God, not conservatives.
