Air America

I think the main reason that Air America is failing is that most Americans, even those who do not agree with Republicans,find the extreme liberal positions expressed here not only unseemly, but plain wrong. This is reflected in presidential elections, where a true liberal has not been elected since perhaps Wilson [all those who mention Clinton, Carter or Johnson ignore the fact that the concept of Liberal Southern Democrat is almost an oxymoron, and Kennedy was far from a Liberal in most of his views]. So even if all the academics and intellectuals who compose the Liberal base were listening to Air America, their failure is guaranteed.

Air America is its own worse enemy. If they simply catered to the true Democratic base, (not the liberal hijackers) they would be much more successful. They have to have something more to say then, "I hate George Bush".
