How many Boat People this time?

refugees

fyi: over 100,000 people are fleeing Iraq to Syria and Jordan a day right now.
What is your definition of victory? Iraq is already in the middle of a civil war and our troops are dying in record numbers because of it. How many American soldiers need to die for you to realize there is no way to win?

Moonbat statistics

100,000 a day? Now try to use some gray matter here, if you can. At that rate there would by NO ONE left in the country in 8 months; if fleeing the trobuled areas (bagdahd and the anbar province, the complete depopulation of those areas would be done in 2 month.

If elementary school math is beyond you, there is no point even trying to argue the rest of your moonbattery, but here's a few attempts.

1) The terrorists tried their darndest to kill as many as possible this month to try to help their friends, the Democrats. Their version of the Tet offensive yielded only the 4th hight monthly total to date; tragic, but hardly a record. And they died in massive numbers themselves.
2) The low grade civil war that is ongoing will eventually wind down over the next few years. The bombing of markets results in the hunting down of Sunnis for retaliation killings. If nothing else, the Sunnis will learn to hunker down and stop asking to commit suicide.
3) This eventual wind down has no chance of occurring if we are not present (but only as backup forces).
4) The Dems are clearly in logging Iraq as an eventual failure rather than have it succeed. They care nothing for Iraqi people and their hopes an dreams; political power and the defeat of Bush is all that matters.
